Do participants know when they’ve been paid?
Yes. Each participant has an account showing upcoming and completed payments, amounts and history, and receives an email or SMS when a payment goes out.
How are payments triggered?
Marking a visit complete in the eCRF or in Calendar & Scheduling releases the payment. Nobody has to file a request.
Can I pay participants in different countries and currencies?
Yes. Datacapt pays out in multiple currencies through local banking channels, and applies the rules each country requires.
Can I connect Site Payments to my existing finance tools?
Yes. The open API connects to finance systems, accounting platforms and your CTMS, so reconciliation and reporting run without manual re-entry.
When does a participant receive the money?
Once the visit is marked complete, the payment leaves without anyone filing a request. Arrival depends on the banking channel of the participant's country.
Do sites have to advance the money themselves?
No. Datacapt pays the participant, so a coordinator stops carrying cash, buying vouchers and filing an expense claim after each visit.
What record do I get for an audit?
Every payment carries the visit that triggered it, the amount, the currency, the date and the person who released it. Your monitor reads the same trail you do.
Where is payment data hosted?
In the European Union, on HDS-certified infrastructure for health data. Bank details sit behind the roles you assign, and every payment leaves a dated entry in the audit trail.
